Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, we offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order (for eligible goods - please see exclusions below).

We will always help with issues even on excluded items (see below). Due to the nature of hazardous goods shipping, please be aware that the actual cost of shipping hazardous goods is a minimum of £18.50. In the event of refund exchange on hazardous goods (except where due to damage or Birch Performance error), refunds will be net of the true shipping costs.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused and in the same condition as when you received it
  • In its original packaging, with all tags still attached
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase (order number)

Return Process

To begin a return, simply reach out to us at racefuel@birchperformance.co.uk. Once your return request is accepted, we will provide you with the return address. Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping cost. We cannot accept items returned without prior approval.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care in packing your orders, but if your item is defective, damaged, or if you receive an incorrect item, please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately. We will assess the situation and work with you to resolve the issue.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are non-returnable, including:

  • Custom products (e.g. travel packs)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gasses
  • Sale items 
  • Racing fuel
  • Empty fuel barrels

If you’re unsure about the return eligibility of a product, please reach out to us before making your purchase.

Exchanges

If you’d like to exchange an item, the best option is to return the item for a refund and then place a new order for the item you wish to receive. This ensures a quicker turnaround.  Any exchanges, returns or refunds where the products are not faulty will be exclusive of shipping costs and bank fees (2.99%).

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you regarding the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take some additional time for the refund to appear in your account.
