Klotz NITRO is a dual-action oxygenating power additive built around a 50/50 blend of Nitropropane and Koolinal® - delivering aggressive power gains without the destructive heat spikes that usually come with them.

Directions
Blends with petrol, methanol, and E85. Take several spark plug readings to verify jet settings and correct the spark plug heat range. A colder spark plug heat range is recommended.
4-Stroke Engines: Use 3 to 4 ounces of NITRO per gallon to start, jet sizing may need to be increased up to 4 sizes. High compression engines: retard timing 2 degrees. Ratios up to 12 ounces per gallon can be used with proper jetting. Heat constraints must be verified.
2-Stroke Engines: Use 2 to 4 ounces of NITRO per gallon to start, jet sizing may need to be increased up to 6 sizes. Higher ratios can be used but jetting and heat must be checked.

Klotz Nitro is a highly effective, high dose power additive. However, read this before you pour. It is an oxygenator. It adds oxygen to your fuel, which leans the air to fuel mixture. Add it without increasing fuelling and the engine runs lean, and a lean race engine is how you get detonation, pre-ignition, melted plugs and holed pistons. This is not a top-up you splash in and drive. You must re-jet or re-map, confirm with plug readings, and retard timing on high-compression engines. Start at the lowest dose, verify heat, and only work up with proper jetting in place.

Dosing is per can. One can is 473 ml (1 US pint).

If you are dosing from the 1 US gallon container (3.79 L), this guide is written around one can, which is 473 ml (1 US pint). A US gallon holds exactly 8 of these pints. You will therefore need to calculate your fuel accordingly.
Always increase jetting and take plug readings to confirm. High-compression engines should retard timing 2 degrees, run a colder plug, and verify heat before pushing toward the maximum.
